Ace Kids Golf Program
Since 1998, Ace Kids Golf has been making a difference in the lives of disadvantaged kids in the Oakland community by providing supervised fun, safe, educational and recreational junior golf programs and field trips. Through encouragement, coaching, mentoring, and experiencing a part of life many of these kids never even knew existed, we have witnessed the powerful positive effect the game of golf can have on a young person's life. Today Ace is the only local bay area golf program that provides transportation to and from the golf course, multi-level instruction, life-skills training, and mentoring free-of-charge to kids who otherwise would not have access to the game of golf.
Adaptive Learning Center
The mission of the Adaptive Learning Center is to provide a safe and healthy community for adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders to realize their individual potential for self-reliant living as defined by the ability to engage in productive work, to socialize successfully, to attend to their own physical and emotional health, and to experience on-going personal growth.
The mission of the AdvanceCamp is to support educational opportunities for young men and to provide an effective program that: develops personal/mental/emotional fitness, gives opportunities to develop self-reliance, develops a keen respect for the basic rights of others and prepares boys for participating and giving leadership within their community and world.
AIDS Project of the East Bay
Since 1983, AIDS Project of the East Bay has been focused on caring for people living with HIV and preventing new HIV infections in Alameda County. Our staff provides culturally-appropriate, non-judgmental, and effective HIV prevention and care services that prioritize the most vulnerable and marginalized persons and communities.

At Ala Costa Centers, we strive to create a space where youth and young adults with disabilities are empowered to find, use, and express their unique strengths and talents. We work to provide each student at Ala Costa with the skills and opportunities they need to become successful members of society, while encouraging them to have some fun along the way and offering support and guidance to their families.
Alameda County Community Food Bank
Alameda County Community Food Bank has been at the forefront of local hunger relief since 1985. We serve 1 in 5 Alameda County residents by distributing food through 240 food pantries and other organizations, as well as programs like our Mobile Pantry. This year, we'll provide the equivalent of 30 million meals; more than half of the food is fresh produce. We've received Charity Navigator's top rating for 10 straight years. www.accfb.org
Alameda County Homeless Action Center
People who are homeless are poor, disabled, ill and marginalized. The Homeless Action Center (HAC) provides no-cost, barrier-free, culturally competent legal representation that allows homeless men and women to access the maze of social safety net programs that provide a pathway out of homelessness. Clients obtain health care, housing, a sustainable income and restored dignity. HAC is the only program in the Bay Area that specializes in legal assistance to those who are chronically homeless.

Alameda County Science & Engineering Fair
Dedicated to shaping the next generation of scientists and engineers! Our mission is to bring knowledge, interest and passion for science and engineering to teachers and students grades 6-12 in Alameda County. SACSEF hosts the annual 3-day county -wide science & engineering fair and year-round Science Fair 101 hands minds on workshops for students, teachers and parents emphasizing the Next Generation of Science Standards and traditions in S.T.E.M. education.
