Ala Costa Centers
At Ala Costa Centers, we strive to create a space where youth and young adults with disabilities are empowered to find, use, and express their unique strengths and talents. We work to provide each student at Ala Costa with the skills and opportunities they need to become successful members of society, while encouraging them to have some fun along the way and offering support and guidance to their families.

Our transition program serves ID/DD young adults ages 18-22, and our and community training program is for ID/DD young adults ages 22 and over. Both of the adult programs follow a Community-Based Instruction model, in which instruction and activities are immersed as much as possible in the community. The focus of the adult programs is self-determination skills, vocational skills, independent living skills, and community integration.
